Kenneth
J. Benjamin, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.A.S.
Although
born and raised on Long Island, Dr. Kenneth James Benjamin has called
the Washington Metropolitan Area home for many years. He majored in
Microbiology as a pre-medicine student at the University of Maryland.
Based on his superior personal and academic achievements, Dr. Benjamin
was accepted to the prestigious early admission program at the Ohio
College of Podiatric Medicine, where he received his Doctorate in
1981.
Dr.
Benjamin served as Chief Resident of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery
at the Washington D.C. Veterans' Administration Medical Center. His
rigorous training included rotations through the Georgetown University
Medical Center, Washington Hospital Center, and Bethesda Naval Hospital.
Dr.
Benjamin, whose parents are both retired educators, frequently teaches
others about the latest techniques and innovations in the field of
podiatry. He currently serves as an Adjunct Professor with Ohio College
of Podiatric Medicine and continues to serve the V.A. Medical Center.
He is eminently qualified in general podiatry as well as advanced

Jennifer E. Mullendore, DPM
Jennifer E. Mullendore, DPM joined our Center for Reconstructive Foot and
Ankle Surgery in July 2005. A native of Washington County, Maryland,
Dr. Mullendore began her advanced schooling with a Bachelor of Science degree
from Salisbury University and subsequently earned her Doctorate in Podiatric
Medicine at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. A three-year
surgical residency in Reconstructive Foot and Ankle Surgery at the renowned
Crozer-Keystone Health System prepared her with the knowledge and experience
needed for treating complicated foot and ankle disorders, as well as in the most
up-to-date techniques and advancements in podiatric medicine. During her
surgical residency, she opted for elective specialized training in foot and ankle surgery
from European leaders in Switzerland. Her podiatric interest lies in
diabetic wound and limb salvage surgery.
Since establishing herself in practice, Dr. Mullendore has received credentials at
our privately owned ambulatory surgical facility, Twin Arch Surgical Center, as well
as at Central Maryland Surgical Center and Frederick Memorial Hospital. With
staff priviledges at a variety of surgical facilities, Dr. Mullendore has the unique
means by which to treat a variety of patients from basic routine diabetic care in the
offi ce to more complicated surgical cases, such as Achilles tendon repair.
Dr. Mullendore's philosophy is to offer state-of-the-art treatment for all foot and
ankle conditions with the utmost care for her patients' individual and unique
needs. Since her addition to our practice, she has received praise from our patients
and is admired for her ability to make each patient feel individually important and
special. She bases her success on the appreciation and successful improvement of
her patients.
